University of Redlands won the SCIAC Tourney beating Claremont 63-54. Tristan led all scorers with 14 points. UoR goes on to the NCAA D-III Championships! In this clip, with 8:15 to play, 44-41 UoR, #41 Matt Dietrich owns the lane.

SCIAC Tournament Semi-Final, UoR vs. Cal Lutheran with 2:57 remaining in the 2nd half, 64-48. #12 Keating brings it downcourt and passes to #15 Tristan Kirk for a lay-up. CalLu makes a long 2-ptr. UoR brings it back downcourt, CalLu tries to trap T and fouls him.

 

 

 

Tristan 3-ptr After All

SCIAC Tournament Semi-Final, UoR vs. Cal Lutheran. UoR won 68-58! Here, with 11:57 remaining in the 2nd half, CalLu misses a shot, then UoR brings it down court. My nephew Tristan, #15, declines a shot at a 3 and passes it, moves a few feet and sinks a 3 after all.

 

 

 

Tristan 3-Pointer vs. Pomona

My nephew Tristan Kirk, #15 in white, on 2/19/11 making a 3-pointer with 1:08 left in the 2nd half, putting the score at 50-49 UoR over Pomona-Pitzer. Very exciting game! Tied at 52, UoR ended up winning 64-57 in OT. Tristan had 6 points and 2 amazing steals in OT. (Assist by #5 Kent Ervin)

My nephew Tristan Kirk, #15 in white, on 2/19/11 making a lay-up at the start of the 2nd half, putting the score at 29-20 UoR over Pomona-Pitzer. Very exciting game! UoR ended up winning 64-57 in OT, maintaining their tie for 1st place with Claremont-M-S and only one game left. (Assist by #4 Jack Colston)
